    • We are accepting consignment offers November 19-22 & December 3-6. Please read the consignment steps below and the consignment faq before reaching out.
    • Priority: Winter clothes and outerwear (all sizes), shoes sizes 8-12, winter accessories, fine and costume jewelry, handbags.

    bring us your items

    • We accept consignments at our Lodi Store by appointment only. For faster response please contact us via email with product images. Please visit our Contact Us page for the store address and hours.
    • If you are not able to visit our Lodi, CA store, please e-mail us at info@velvetg.com with photos of your items to get started!
    • We accept vintage and antique clothing (1960s-earlier) in A-C conditions, relevant and designer vintage clothing (1970s-2000s) and accessories in A/B condition. We also accept contemporary items for resale.
    • We do not accept Soiled, contamninated or unwashed items of any kind. Items that have been around animals with fur or feathers must be laundered/sanitized before bringing into the store for consideration.

    • While we accept clothing of ALL sizes, we prioritize unworn/ gently used plus-size vintage clothing items.

    approve consignment agreement

    • Retail prices are proposed by the consignor and approved by Velvet & Gabardine.
    • We operate on a 70/30 consignment split - consignors receive 30% of the retail selling price. Repeat consigners may receive a 60/40 or 50/50 consignment split based on sales performance of their previous items.
    • Consignors are paid out by the 15th of the month for any sales that occur the previous month.
    • Consigned goods are held for 3 month sales periods and 6 months maximum. After 6 months, items must be collected by the consignor by the 1st day of the following month. Uncollected items will be sold or donated.
